Here is my Christmas card.

Merry Christmas

Our hearts grow tender with childhood memories and love of kindred, and we are better throughout the year for having, in spirit, become a child again at Christmas-time.
~Laura Ingalls Wilder

My sister asked me to create someone for her daughter's friends, using her fencing image.

Philipsburg Manor

Philipsburg Manor is a small historic manor, gristmill museum located in Tarrytown NY along the Hudson River. The manor dates back to 1693 & was built by Frederick Philipse. The next two images from the Manor, the outside & inside of the barn found on the grounds.

The next 3 images are from Muscoot Farms located in Somers. It was a "Gentleman's Farm" owned by the Hopkins family, used as a dairy farm between 1880-1924 & a summer estate. In 1924 the family moved there as their year-round home & continued to operated the dairy farm till 1967. Westchester County acquired the property in the late 60's & is now an Interpretive Farm.

Non of my indoor images of the churches from Italy will ever compare to being there in person! Amazing architecture & detailed artwork through out Italy. A must see to believe. Walkable Westchester

Yesterday, GREENBURGH NATURE CENTER launched a new book "Walkable Westchester", a guide to parks & trails of Westchester County.
I learned that this was the effort of many volunteers & all proceeds go towards The New York-New Jersery Trail Conference. Two of my photos were included in this book.
So if you live in the lower Hudson Valley, & enjoy hiking, walking, nature/landscape photography, this is the book for you. It describes each park, its history, uses, ecology, location of parks & maps of trails.
