Photobucket

This month's photo challenge is "WINDOWS"....or "Window". You can use your imagination & be creative. You can also use the window as a framing tool, but it must have a window in it. You can have one window, or many windows, but remember the focus is on "windows".
Starts today & ends April 15th.

windows in Italy

This was taken in Salerno, Italy. I used the HDR technique.

bedell house

The Bedell house in Old Bethpage Village on LI, I also used the HDR technique with grunge effect.

Mystic Window

This last photo was taken in the late 1970's in Mystic, Connecticut. I was looking out of the window on a rainy day, using the window as a frame. I added an grunge/layered effect this year.

Marie...as always, your photos are excellent. I love the first one (you're really enjoying HDR, aren't you?)...it has great color and details. The last one is incredible--you are the master of grunge! I think what stands out on the middle one is the reflection in the window. No doubt what the subject here is!

The laundry and window shade editing have a wonderful effect. The marble takes on seem deep rich tones. The boats through the window have a nice softened effect like I have been reading about done by early artistic photographers. It was turn of the century when society preferred having everything in sharp focus. mark/salty
