With the Holidays approaching I thought it would be fun to create our own greeting cards.
It could be Christmas theme, Festival of Lights or any religion holiday you celebrate, or.....New Years, birthdays, anniversaries.........Landscapes, Still Life, portraits....any type image can be used. You can do more than one.
This should be a good challenge for everyone. So please find the time to join in, I know that will be hard this time of the year.
You can add text to it. If you don't have any software to edit it, you can add your text in the post.

Hi, Marie! I love both of these cards. How fun to use a real person fencing with a fun cartoon. I was wondering what software you use to add text. I keep defaulting to using powerpoint but the quality does suffer. :) It's nice to be back. Greeting card is in work at this time but in a day or two..:)
Two VERY different styles. Looks like you had a lot of fun with both. As always, you do such wonderful creative work.

The brownish tones with the snowscape are fascinating. It contains more than similar browns, but a use of a greater selection in a specific design. The Dr. Suess card looks professionally created. I even see a cast shadow from the fencer. I send my greetings to your family over this season's memorable time. For thousands of years people have found hope to be a neccessary element in life. A shared desire that all people seek to uplift each other, can result in the fullfillment with positive outcome. Knowledge is the key to success. mark/salty
