Round Robin Challenge: Favorite Toy
This was an easy challenge. In my parents basement(for some reason) was my old doll, It was my favorite toy dating back in the late 1950's. As you can see it was used.... & a little scary Ü~

Cool Shot. I always thought those old dolls, even the new ones were scary
She looks like she might be one of those that clothes her eyes when you lay her down. Seems like I had one that resembled her many years ago (I'm 60). Neat that you found her and took this great shot!
What a great picture you have created using the poor old doll. She has lived a very long a nd seemimgly hard.
I think I may have had one that looked alot like this..but the brown hair stuck straight up! It looks like she is a very worn out old friend..you are lucky to still have her:)
awww...it just shows how much she was loved. :)
That's a great photo Marie. I've always found dolls scary, yours looks scarier than most! I used to have a china doll who could walk and talk, now that WAS scary! Happy new year! Jeannette xx
Wow. That's quite an artifact from your childhood, and I love the starkness of the original photo. You can't say the doll lacks character!
I used to have a doll like that. I have no idea what became of it. Mine you could give a bottle of water and she wet her pants. I got it for Christmas one year. Come to think of it I don't believe she had any hair though. Helen
The doll must certainly bring back memories. I could see using the hair holes for putting in feathers, flower's, etc. I enjoyed seeing the collage. mark
