Macro is Close-up Photography
In this Challenge we are looking for Close-up or Macro images.
It is capturing something, usually small, at a close range, & seeing things at a different viewpoint. You can use a macro lens, macro settings...or just get as close as you can, but make sure your subject is in focus.
The challenge starts today & ends on Thursday, Feb. 12th @ 9PM EST. Please remember to follow the GUIDELINES. Poll will start on Friday, 13th.

Here are my example of Close-ups

Great pictures.
ReplyDeleteI love, love, LOVE this photo of the underside of fungus. Perfect depth of field and it's SO dramatic in black and white. I'm sure I'll be participating in this challenge. I'll let you know when I've posted.
ReplyDeleteThese are fantastic shots Marie! Beautifully focussed and I love the angle that you used in both! Jeannette xx
ReplyDeleteIt is an art form to reveil such beauty. The bee you have in your photo is gathering pollen, like a good bee does. The large bee's I have at my home I call 'boring bee's', because they bore into any exposed wood they can find and eventually destroy some of my building. The underside of the fungus or mushroom has great texture, and the grouping is elegant. mark
ReplyDeleteBoth excellent shots but I really like the fungus also.
ReplyDeletegreat shots as always my friend.. I love the black and white :)

Marie, I love both images. I know how hard that first one was to capture and love it more because of it...but I especially love photos of mushrooms, so the second one is my choice for winner. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat work, Marie...good job. I love the mushrooms.
ReplyDeleteI really love the mushrooms! The details we forget about and make us smile and think about looking at them from that angle next time.
ReplyDeleteI hope that this does not appear two times..my first post vanished....
ReplyDeleteI really like the mushrooms! I love images of things that make us stop for a second and rethink the way we look at the things around us.
Wonderful photos. Love the drama of the second one.
